Fields and lawns flooded in Hamilton County

The normal year-to-date precipitation in Carmel, Indiana on May 4 is 12.33 in.  At 16.58 in., the year-to-date precipitation as of May 4, 2017 is 134.5% of the normal year-to-date precipitation.  Precipitation April 29, 2017 was 2.2 in.,  April 30th was 1.5 in., May 1st was 1.3 in. and 3 in. of rain so far today in the Hamilton County area. 

BAMwx.com is forecasting heavy rain till Saturday and very cold temperatures over the next week. Hard frost threats Sunday through Tuesday am. Sunshine returns late weekend with another system arriving Tuesday. This pattern continues most of May with cooler temps and heavy rain. Heat wave to end May and open June possible, than cooler temperatures expected the month of June.
